New York, NY (Sports Network) - Chicago Fire forward Mike Magee was voted
Major League Soccer's Player of the Month on Wednesday for the month of June.

week, Magee helped Chicago come back from two goals down to tie the Portland
Timbers on June 8.
With the Fire down 1-0 to the Colorado Rapids on June 19, Magee chipped a
penalty kick into the back of the net, sparking another come from behind
victory for the Fire.
In the Fire's last league game of the month, Magee scored the game-winning
goal and recorded an assist in a 2-1 victory over the Columbus Crew.
This is Magee's second Player of the Month recognition this year; as a member
