Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Mark Buehrle spun seven scoreless innings to help lift the Toronto Blue Jays past the Minnesota Twins, 4-0, in the opener of a three-game set at Rogers Centre.

Buehrle (5-5) scattered six hits while striking out five and did not allow a run for just the second time this season.

Jose Bautista and Jose Reyes each went 3-for-4 with two RBI for the Blue Jays, who snapped a three-game losing streak.

Kevin Correia (6-6) was dinged for four runs on a season-high ten hits and three walks in six frames. It was just his second loss in his last eight starts.

Brian Dozier and Oswaldo Arcia had two hits apiece for the Twins, who have dropped six straight. It's the seventh time Minnesota has been shut out this year.
