GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) - Duke sophomore guard Rasheed Sulaimon has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
Sulaimon keyed Duke to important ACC wins over Virginia and NC State last week, including the go-ahead 3-point shot in the closing seconds of the 23rd-ranked Blue Devils' 69-65 win over the Cavaliers on Monday night.
Sulaimon finished the Virginia game with a season-high 21 points, including four 3s, on 7-of-11 shooting from the floor.
The Houston, Texas, native added 13 points in Saturday's 95-60 win over NC State for his fifth double-figure scoring outing in his past seven games.
Sulaimon added a season-high six assists while playing just 17 minutes against the Wolfpack.
