RALEIGH, N.C. - North Carolina State coach Mark Gottfried says he's committed to the Wolfpack program when asked about the coaching vacancy at UCLA.
After Thursday's news conference for junior Lorenzo Brown to declare for the NBA draft, Gottfried said he wouldn't talk about any job "other than the one I have -- which is the one I love.'
He also said: "I'm excited about being here and my full focus is on the work that we have to do, which I think is a lot right now."
That came one day after the second-year coach tweeted that he was "still as dedicated to rebuilding the program" as when he arrived in 2011.
Gottfried spent eight seasons as an assistant at UCLA, including during the Bruins' run to the 1995 NCAA championship.
