Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - EUROPEAN TOUR - WORLD GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP -
BRIDGESTONE INVITATIONAL, Firestone Country Club, Akron, Ohio - Keegan Bradley
went to one of Tiger Woods' favorite courses last year and rallied to win the
Bradley carded his fourth straight round in the 60s to overtake Jim Furyk and
win for the third time on the PGA Tour. Among Bradley's first three wins on
tour were a major, the 2011 PGA Championship, and a World Golf Championship.
The 27-year-old has six top-10 finishes this season, but has yet to visit the
winner's circle. His share of 15th at the British Open was his best finish in
a major, while he took seventh at the WGC - Cadillac Championship for his best
finish at a WGC event.
Woods, who shared eighth last year, has won this title seven times. He shares
the course record, while owning the 36, 54 and 72-hole scoring records by
The last of his seven wins at this event was in 2009. In 2010 and 2011, he
shared 78th and 37th respectively. They were easily his worst finishes at this
tournament, which he won four straight times from 2005-09. He missed the 2008
event due to injury.
Earlier this year, Matt Kuchar won the WGC - Accenture Match Play Championship
over Hunter Mahan. Then at Doral, Woods beat Steve Stricker by two to win the
WGC - Cadillac Championship.

The European Tour remains in the United States next week for the PGA
WOMEN'S BRITISH OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP, The Old Course at St. Andrews, St. Andrews,
Scotland - The LPGA Tour heads to the home of golf with history on the line.
Inbee Park has won six titles this year, including the first three majors of
the season. She rolled to a 4-stroke win at the Kraft Nabisco, then needed
three playoff holes to down Catriona Matthew at the LPGA Championship.
After a week off, she won the NW Arkansas Championship before heading to the
U.S. Women's Open. Park was 10-under par entering the final round, but closed
with a 74. She still won the Open by four as second-place finisher I.K. Kim
also shot 74 in the final round.
The victory at the U.S. Women's Open gave Park her third major of the year.
She joined Babe Zaharias as the only two women to win the first three majors
of the season.
No one has won four in one year.
Last year's Women's British Open at Hoylake was a laugher. Jiyai Shin went 10-
under par through three rounds and cruised to an easy 9-shot win over Park.

This year's event returns to the Old Course at St. Andrews for the second
time. The first time this championship was played there, Lorena Ochoa won by
four over Jee Young Lee and Maria Hjorth.
ESPN2 will have television coverage of all four rounds.
The LPGA Tour takes a week off then will return with the Solheim Cup at the
Colorado Golf Club. The European team won the matches in 2011, 15-13. It was
their first win in the event since 2003.
RENO-TAHOE OPEN, Montreux Golf & Country Club, Reno, Nevada - J.J. Henry
posted seven points in the final round last year to win the Reno-Tahoe Open by
a single point over Alexandre Rocha.
The event uses the modified stableford scoring system in which eight points
are awarded for a double eagle, five for an eagle, two for a birdie and zero
for a par. A bogey costs a player one point and a double bogey or worse you
subtract three points.
Henry's seven points in the final round were his lowest total of the week. The
victory was his second on the PGA Tour, but first since the 2006 Buick
In his last five starts, Henry has two missed cuts and two top-10 finishes.

The PGA Tour will head to New York next week for the PGA Championship, where
Rory McIlroy will defend his title. The victory was McIlroy's second major
championship and he followed with two wins in the FedExCup playoffs, but he
has yet to win this year.
3M CHAMPIONSHIP, TPC Twin Cities, Blaine, Minnesota - Bernhard Langer put
together a dominating 10-under 62 in the final round last year to rally and
win the title by two strokes.
Langer was six back at the start of the day, but roared by David Peoples to
win for the 15th time on the Champions Tour.
Langer lost a playoff to Mark Wiebe on Monday morning at the Senior British
Open. Both players are slated to compete this week at the TPC Twin Cities, but
we'll see what happens after their playoff went an extra day.

After week off, the Champions Tour moves to New York for the Dick's Sporting
Goods Open, where Willie Wood won last year.
MYLAN CLASSIC, Southpointe Golf Club, Canonsburg, Pennsylvania - The Web.Com
Tour is in Pennsylvania this week for the Mylan Classic.
Robert Streb opened and closed with rounds of 7-under 64 last year en route to
a 4-stroke win over three players. Streb, who was a rookie at the time of the
