Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Phil Mickelson claimed his first official European Tour title on Sunday and that helped him move to fifth in this week's world golf rankings.

Mickelson climbed three places with the victory.

The top four spots in the rankings remained the same, with Tiger Woods again followed by Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Adam Scott. They were trailed by Mickelson, who will go for his first British Open title at Muirfield this week.

Matt Kuchar, Graeme McDowell and Brandt Snedeker all dipped one spot and were ranked sixth to eighth. Luke Donald remained No. 9 and was followed by Steve Stricker, who inched up one to 10th. That move pushed Louis Oosthuizen down a spot to 11th.

Lee Westwood and reigning British Open champion Ernie Els held steady in 12th and 13th, while Charl Schwartzel and Sergio Garcia exchanged places with Schwartzel up to 14th.

Bubba Watson and Jason Day inched up one to 16th and 17th as Keegan Bradley tumbled a pair to No. 18. Webb Simpson and Ian Poulter closed out the top 20 again this week.

Branden Grace, who lost in a playoff to Mickelson, jumped seven to 26th. Jordan Spieth claimed his first PGA Tour win to gain the final spot in this week's British Open Championship. Spieth soared 61 places to No. 59 this week.
