Miller, Corpening among those going low at BMW

Greer, SC (Sports Network) - Zack Miller and Franklin Corpening both fired 9- under 62s on Thursday as they share the first-round lead at the BMW Charity Pro-Am.

Miller and Corpening both played the host course, the par-71 Thornblade Club. Hudson Swafford and Mark Anderson also carded 9-under rounds. They carded their 63s on the par-72 Chanticleer Course at Greenville Country Club.

Six players were two strokes off the lead. Matt Davidson opened with a 7-under 65 on the Chanticleer Course, while the other five -- Mathias Gronberg, Hunter Haas, Jason Gore, Will MacKenzie and Ben Martin -- all played the third course in the rotation, the par-72 Reserve at Lake Keowee.

Eight more players stand at minus-6, while defending champion Nick Flanagan is tied for 53rd at 3-under 68.
