Fayetteville, AR (SportsNetwork.com) - Anthlon Bell paced five teammates in
double figures with 18 points as the Arkansas Razorbacks made easy work of the
SIU Edwardsville Cougars, 99-65, in the season opener at Bud Walton Arena.
Bell shot 6-of-9 from the field for Arkansas (1-0), including 5-of-6 from 3-
point territory. Michael Qualls scored 16 points, and Coty Clarke tallied 10
points and eight rebounds. Alandise Harris (15 points) and Mardracus Wade (11
points) each had impressive showings in reserve roles
In 16 minutes off the bench, Tim Johnson was the only SIUE (0-1) player in
double figures with 13 points.
