Anthony Timmons Named Head Football Coach At Graham HS

Graham, N.C.--Charlotte Holmes, Principal of Graham High School, announced today that Anthony Timmons will become the new head football coach for the Red Devils effective this fall. Timmons replaces Mike McCauley, who resigned after 7 years as Graham's head coach.

Holmes stated "The entire Graham community is grateful to Coach McCauley for his dedication to our football program over the years, and we wish him much success in his future endeavors." Holmes added, "We are also excited to welcome Coach Timmons who brings a wealth of experience in coaching as well as becoming an excellent addition to our faculty."

Timmons comes to the Red Devils with 10 years of coaching experience. Most recently, he was head football coach at East Montgomery High School.

He has also held various coaching positions at East Gaston, Forbush, and North Davidson High Schools.

Timmons was a scholarship athlete at Winston-Salem State University, where he played linebacker and defensive end. He holds a BA in Physical Education from WSSU and BA in Special Education from High Point University.

Timmons has taught physical education and exceptional children. In addition to his new role as head football coach, he will be an EC teacher at Graham. Timmons' first day will be Tuesday, April 10.
