Greensboro Police Investigating Two Shootings

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Greensboro Police say they are investigating two shootings that happened late Saturday night.

Officers said they arrived to a home on Arbor Drive at 11:05 p.m. and found a 24-year-old male suffering from serious, but non-life threatening injuries after he was shot.

During their investigation, officers said they determined the male victim was in the area of Banner Avenue and Everitt Street when he was approached by one or more suspects. One of the suspects had a hand gun and discharged it several times at the victim according to police.

The male victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

At 11:44 p.m. officers said they also responded to a home on Causey Street where they received a call about another person who had been shot.

A 34-year-old male victim told officers he was in his apartment when three suspects came in and shot him. The victim then left his apartment.

Police said the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Both investigations are ongoing.

Police say the two shootings are not related.
