GREENVILLE, Ky.-- Nine
people were killed and two were seriously injured early Thursday in a
house fire in Muhlenberg County, a Greenville Fire Department dispatcher

two people injured in the fire were flown to Vanderbilt University
Medical Center for treatment. Hospital spokeswoman Dagny Stuart
confirmed one adult and one child were flown to the hospital. The adult
was taken to the main ER at the hospital while the child was taken to
Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital, which is on the same campus.
The conditions and names of the fire victims were not immediately available, Stuart said.
