What do you after helping to marry more than 30 couples in prime time on national TV? Sing at the Super Bowl, of course.
That's precisely what Queen Latifah -- who played a key role in Macklemore and Ryan Lewis'
production number/mass wedding ceremony at Sunday night's Grammy Awards
-- will do this Sunday. It was announced Monday that the multi-tasking
entertainer will deliver America the Beautiful at the pregame show on Fox.
Latifah has performed the task before, at Super Bowl XLIV, four years ago. Last year, Jennifer Hudson did the honors, accompanied by 26 children from Newtown, Conn., following the December 2012 school shootings there.
Other artists who have performed the song for the occasion of the big game include Ray Charles, Alicia Keys, Faith Hill and Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert.
