Dean McDermott has entered rehab.
"I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I've caused my family," he tellsPeople
in a statement. "I take full responsibility for my actions and have
voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some
health and personal issues. I am grateful to be getting the help I need
so I can become the husband and father my family deserves."
The exact nature of McDermott's rehab was not given, but the Chopped Canada host and wife Tori Spelling have been plagued with rumors of McDermott's infidelity since the holidays. People reports
that the 47-year-old is receiving "intense treatment," but is allowed
to leave to visit his and Spelling's four children at their house. The
couple, married since 2006, are parents to Liam, 6, Stella, 5, Hattie, 2, and Finn, 15 months.
