WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Police say a man has been arrested in connection to a November residential burglary in which a 14-year-old boy was tied up after three men forcibly entered the Virginia home.
Luis Enrique Escurra Backus, 29, of no fixed address, is charged with abduction, burglary and conspiracy to commit a felony, Prince William County police announced Friday.
Backus is accused of forcibly entering a home in the 3800 block of Fortuna Ct. in Woodbridge on Nov. 5, when police say he and two other men robbed the house of multiple small electronics and an undisclosed amount of cash.
The 14-year-old boy was tied up and placed in the bathroom during the robbery, police say.
The two other men involved in the robbery remain unidentified and the investigation is still underway, police say.
