GREENSBORO, NC -- Light snow is expected to fly across the Triad overnight with minor accumulations possible.
A strong, but moisture-starved cold front will cross the Piedmont Wednesday night bringing cold air and very few showers. These showers will begin as rain, but will transition into snow as night falls.
Snow accumulations, as always, will vary greatly by location. The mountains stand to see a couple inches. In the Foothills, a coating to an inch is most likely, with a dusting possible for the rest of the Triad.
Impacts to roadways in the greater Triad will be relatively minor, but there could be a few slick spots out there tomorrow morning with temperatures just below freezing.
