REIDSVILLE, N.C. -- The City of Reidsville says a spill of untreated wastewater on Monday lasted for eight hours.
It happened as a result of an overflow of untreated wasterwater from a manhole near Winstead Street. City leaders say it was the result of not just a buildup of grease but also baby wipes.
The City cleaned up the site. About 21,000 gallons entered a tributary of Lick Fork Creek.
