UPDATE: Police Release 2 Men In Walmart Shooting

KERNERSVILLE, NC -- Kernersville police said Sunday that they have located a second car believed involved in the Saturday night shooting in the parking lot at Walmart on South Main Street.

As first reported on WFMY News 2, Police also said that they spoke to two persons of interest, but have made no arrests.

Below is a copy of the full news release, issued Sunday from the Kernersville PD:

Kernersville, NC -----
On December 28, at 9:42 pm, officers of the Kernersville Police Department responded to a reported "shots fired" call at Walmart located at 1130 South Main Street.

4 shots had been fired in the parking lot. It was determined that shots had been fired at another vehicle, which had fled the area.

This vehicle was later located. 2 black males involved in the shooting were observed entering Walmart. Both of these persons were later located and are considered persons of interest.

A firearm was also recovered and the red vehicle is being held as they investigate. The case is being actively investigated.
