TRIAD, NC -- Low pressure is developing in the Gulf of Mexico and will track northeast and move across the Carolinas Sunday.
Saturday, rain will develop just after midnight and continue on Sunday. The high Sunday will be 43. Heavy to moderate rain shower into the morning hours.
This system is expected to bring rainfall amounts around an inch or more. The rain ends Sunday evening. High pressure with cooler and drier air will build over the area for the remaining few days of 2013.
It will be partly to mostly sunny Monday through Wednesday with a high in the low to mid 40's and lows in the mid 20's.
Our normal high temperature is 48 and our normal low is 30.
