WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Consumer Product and Safety Commission announced a recall Friday on Yankee candle rings due to a fire hazard.
Yankee Candle company says this affects about 15,000 candle rings, pine berry scent, that were sold nationwide in Hallmark and Yankee Candle stores.
CPSC says the candle rings' synthetic foliage and berries are flammable and pose a fire hazard.
Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the candle rings and to return them to the nearest Yankee Candle store for a refund. You can also call Yankee Candle at (877) 417-2230 or contact them online.
