Investigators Use Small, Critical Clues to Find Exploited Children

It could be as simple as a type of snack , like pretzels, caught in a picture. Any small, critical clue could help in the race against time when a child disappears.

Special agents work around the clock, across the world to find those missing children.

One specialized lab is dedicated to identifying victims of child sex abuse and rescuing them before it's too late. In less than two years, more than 80 children have been rescued.

The Fairfax, Virginia lab used pretzel packaging, a blurry street sign, trees and types of fish from pictures to identify the location of missing children. Now, many of those child predators are facing the consequences.
