Greensboro, NC -- Duke Energy has restored power along a stretch of roads in Greensboro after a possible transformer failure Saturday morning.
The outages happened on W. Friendly Ave. between College Road and I-840. The outages affected traffic lights and several Duke Energy customers early Saturday.
Crews restored power around 10 a.m.
Greensboro police were not sure of the exact cause of the outages, but say a faulty transformer might have been to blame.
