FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) -- Two Fayetteville men are headed to prison for shooting a man during a dispute over an Xbox video game console.

The Fayetteville Observer reports that Justen Jarel King and Christopher Andrew Alexander pleaded guilty this week to second-degree murder and other charges for the 2009 post-Christmas slaying of 27-year-old Jason Lee Smith.

Prosecutors say Alexander and King went to the home of Smith and roommate Emanuel Gantlin, who had earlier bought an Xbox from Alexander.

Alexander wanted the Xbox back and began to disconnect it from the television as King drew a handgun. Gantlin testified that as King pulled back the handgun's slide to load it, the weapon fired, striking Smith in the chest.

King was sentenced to more than 13 years in prison. Alexander got 10 years.
