Greensboro, NC -- The wife of Vice President Joe Biden is spending the day in North Carolina to encourage supporters to help organize their communities for the Obama-Biden ticket.
Jill Biden has already spoken in Cary and Greensboro and will still make a stop in south Charlotte during the Women for Obama-Biden Canvass Kick-Off events Saturday.
She spoke at the Greensboro Obama for America Office on N. Greene.
Mrs. Biden is yet another notable seeking to influence the campaign in battleground North Carolina.
Joe Biden visited Asheville and Charlotte last week, and Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney was in Asheville for a rally on Thursday night.
