ALA's List Of Banned And Challenged Classic Books

A Ralph Ellison novel was recently banned in Randolph County Schools. However, the school board overturned the ban during a meeting Wednesday night.

During the time the book was banned, critics of the school board's decision united to give students copies of the book.

This issue has been a focus of discussion among WFMY News 2 viewers on our Facebook page.
