Washington-- Parents you're in for fight on this recall. That's because you will have to take away one of your child's stuffed bears.
Thursday, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a recall on the Build-A-Bear character, Sulley. Sulley is the furry blue creature from the Monsters movies (see photo).
The recalled was prompted because the eye can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children, CPSC officials said.
You can check the tracking label ending with 4384 or 4385 for USA and 4378 for Canada can be found on a sewn in label on the backside of the leg of the stuffed monster, to know if you have the one being recalled.
Consumers are being asked to take the recalled Sulley from children and return it to any Build-A-Bear Workshop store to receive a coupon for any stuffed animal from Build-A-Bear Workshop.
Also, anyone who has the recalled bear can call: Build-A-Bear toll-free at (866) 236-5683 or visit the company's website.
