Body Found In Henry County Identified As Missing Eden Woman

Henry County, VA-- For more than a month, Henry County Sheriff's Department Investigators have been working on a case of a body found.

Investigators were notified by the the Medical Examiners Office in Roanoke, Virginia that a positive ID was made on the female body. The person is positively identified as Pamela Marie Woods of Eden, NC. Woods' body was found on Old Mill Road in Henry County on July 8.

She was reported missing by the Eden Police Department. During their investigation of a man with possible connections to Woods and her disappearance committed suicide when investigators arrived at his home to conduct a second search.

According to Henry County Deputies, the cause of Woods' death is still undetermined at this time.

Investigators still working the case said they are working jointly with Eden Police Department and the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office.
