Woolworth Waitress's Daughter Remembers Historic Day

Inside that Woolworth’s, the Greensboro Four made history, but they weren't the only ones there that day. Another powerful part about the story comes from the white waitress who was told not to serve black men at the counter. Ima Edward's daughter, Rebecca shared her mother's memories. Ima was a waitress at the Woolworth's lunch counter for 40 years. Rebecca said her mom, Ima didn't realize she was a part of history.
