Baby Gibbon At Natural Science Center

A rare Javan gibbon was born on April 29th at the Greensboro Natural Science Center. Javan gibbons are considered to be one of the world’s most endangered primates. The center's staff has been hand raising the baby gibbon, which was named Duke, after some difficulties with his birth parents. Duck is now two months old. He can be viewed by visitors daily through a glass viewing window at the Natural Science Center's zoo hospital.
