Minnesota Dorm Implosion

Gage Towers at Minnesota State University are no more.

The two 12-story towers were imploded Saturday morning June 29,2013.

The dorms have played host to more than 50-thousand students since opening in 19-65. The school decided to build new dorms to replace Gage and those new buildings are already in use.

The site of the old buildings will be redeveloped to provide parking.
