Lewisville Elementary School Students Vote For US President

Third grade students in Mrs. Barbara Foster's class at Lewisville Elementary School had their chance to vote for who would be the next President of the United States. "It's so important that children know from a young age that they are American citizens and with that comes many rights and responsibilities," said Foster. "One of those is voting for the people who make important decisions, who make laws, who make the rules. You have to be 18 to vote, but this is about creating involved, engaged citizens and preparing young people to vote."
