WASHINTON, D.C. -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued recalls for Wahl Total Care Aerosol cleaner and girls' faux leather jackets.
Wahl Total Care products are used to clean hair clippers, trimmers, and shavers. CPSC says the vapors from the propellant can ignite upon contact with the hair clippers, posing a burn hazard to users.
Wahl has received three reports of incidents of the product igniting, including one report of minor burns.
Total Care products were sold at Walmart and other retails stores. Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the Total Care product and contact Wahl at 800-767-9245 or go online for a replacement.
Mirage Fashions also recalled Yoki Girls Faux Leather Jackets, citing that the drawstrings can pose a strangulation hazard.
The jackets were sold at Burlington Coat Factory nationwide for about $20. Consumers are advised to immidately remove the drawstrings from the garment or return the jacket for a full refund. No injuries have been reported at this time.
