Birmingham-- The Birmingham Airport Authority held an emergency meeting, Saturday, one day after a flight status board fell and killed a 10-year- old boy.
Luke Bresette's mother and two brothers are still recovering in an area hospital.
Most of the meeting was closed to the media. Two hours later, Authority chairwoman Gaynelle Hendricks said:
"Please be assured that we're making every effort that no other visitor to this facility faces a similar tragedy in the future."
There are signs up around the airport asking people not to touch or lean on any of the signs.
