Miami, Florida - Travelers at Miami International Airport weren't too happy yesterday (Saturday, 3/16) after being caught in delays for hours due to cut backs by the Transportation Security Adminstration.
Passengers said they faced major frustration as they stood in long lines, desperate to get through customs.
The airport hold-ups are a result of the federal budget sequester that went in affect March 1st. Since the government put a cap on the amount of money being spent in transportation, customs and border protection staffing has been reduced and wait times are longer than usual.
Some passengers complained that they waited in line for hours and even missed flights and airport staff didn't even tell them what was going on.
