Scottsdale, AZ (KPHO) -- Parents will do anything for their children, but its one act of love from one son, that's keeping his mother alive.

Michael Jones who lives in Arizona grew up watching his mother go through dialysis as a child. His mother, Annette Jones, was first told she needed a kidney in her mid 20s. After one kidney transplant then came three more as her name appeared repeatedly on the donor wait list.

If that already was not enough she needed one more kidney transplant, but this time around it was Annette's son who out of love gave his mother the gift of life.

"You have a parent that's done so much for you and sacrificed so much and has done every single thing they can think of possibly to benefit their kids and given up things in their life that they could have done to benefit their children, it's nothing." Michael said.

His mother said, "I'm just thrilled to be here and so happy that I have been so fortunate."
