Los Angeles, CA -- A burglary suspect and his female passenger are in custody following a high-speed chase on several freeways and surface streets in South Los Angeles, Tuesday.
The man jumped out of the car before the woman took over and drove away. She was arrested after abandoning the vehicle and scaling several fences.
The male suspect, who apparently changed clothes, was arrested just before 1:30 p.m.
The chase spanned three counties and reached speeds as high as 120 mph. At one point the suspect came close to hitting several people.
Chino police started chasing the vehicle but the California Highway Patrol took over the pursuit.
San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies had also attempted to stop the vehicle, which is wanted in connection with a burglary.
