GREENSBORO, NC--High pressure will build south of the area through tomorrow. A cold front will slowly approach and move into the Piedmont Monday and stall just south of the area. This will increase clouds and the chance for rain. A wedge of colder air will settle in over the area Monday and Tuesday.

Today we will see a mix of sun and high clouds with a high of 47. Tonight will be mostly clear with a low of 25.

Clouds will begin to build over the weekend due to the warming southwesterly wind. Saturday will be mostly sunny with high clouds building in the afternoon. The high will be 53. There will be a 30% chance of rain on Sunday afternoon with a mostly cloudy sky. The high Sunday will be 58.

Rain chance will increase to 50% for Monday through Wednesday. Rain and the passage of the cold front will create a cold pool of air over the Piedmont during this period. There could be areas of freezing drizzle from the Triad and points north and west on Tuesday morning as low temperatures fall to near freezing. Periods of rain are expected for the rest of the day. High temperatures will be in the cooler low 40's  on Monday and near 40 on Tuesday. Lows will be in the lower and mid 30's.

Our normal high is 50, and our normal low is 30.
