Asheville Man Gets Prison For Drug Conspiracy

ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- An Asheville man will spend at least 11 years in prison following his conviction by a Buncombe County jury on drug charges.

Adam Jarmal Hodge, 25, of Granada Street, was found guilty of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, conspiracy to traffic in cocaine and conspiracy to possess cocaine, according to the District Attorney's Office.

Hodge also was convicted of being a habitual felon. He was sentenced to 129-180 months in state prison.

The defendant was released from prison in August 2009 after serving a year and three months for conspiracy to sell drugs, according to N.C. Department of Public Safety records.
