BURLINGTON, N.C. -- Burlington Police say a man turned himself in Friday on a warrant that alleges he embezzled money from a funeral home.
Officers said Larry Brandon Williams turned himself in at the Burlington Police Department Friday.
Police said they received a complaint in October 2013 about property and money that was missing at Williams Funeral and Cremation Services located on May Drive in Burlington.
An investigation was launched and as a result, a warrant was obtained for Williams on charges of Obtaining Property by False Pretense and Embezzlement.
Assistant Chief Chris Verdeck says Williams was taken before an Alamance County Magistrate Friday where he received a $20,000.000 unsecured bond.
The investigation is ongoing.
