Police: Man Threatened Employees; Took Prescription Drugs

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.-- The search is on for a man who allegedly ran behind the counter of a pharmacy, threatened the employees and took prescription medications.

 

Tuesday,  the Winston-Salem Police Department responded to a report of a Robbery of the Jonestown Pharmacy on Jonestown Road. Employees told police the man came inside, went behind the counter, threatened that he had a gun and demanded prescription drugs.

 

 

The man ran off after getting an undisclosed amount of drugs. He was last seen running from the pharmacy heading south towards US Highway 421. 

 

No injuries were reported during the robbery, police said.
