YANCEYVILLE, N.C. -- A man is facing charges after a shooting at his house involving a family member Sunday night.
The Caswell County Sheriff's Office is reporting that around 8:19 p.m., the 911 Center received a call that someone had been shot at a house on U.S. Highway 158 in West Ruffin.
When deputies arrived they found Roger Dale Coltrane, 24, with gunshot wounds on his arm and chest. EMS took Coltrane to Cone Hospital in Greensboro. He is listed in critical condition, according to investigators.
The victim's uncle, identified as Roger Lee Coltrane, 44, was arrested at a house next door to the crime scene. Coltrane is charged with Attempted First Degree Murder.
He was booked into the Caswell County Detention Facility
under a $500,000 secured bond.
