GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The slow and steady opening of Honda Aircraft Co.'s headquarters and manufacturing hub in North Carolina takes a new step with completion of a building for customer-service operations.
The company had a ceremony Thursday at its headquarters in Greensboro. The site will host office workers working for customer and warranty programs, technical support, technical publications, and training. Honda Aircraft Company has brought 850 jobs to the Triad. This expansion will bring hundreds more to the area.

Customer deliveries of the $4.5 million business jet have been delayed several times and the company now is targeting the end of next year.
Honda's first aircraft has engines mounted on top of high-tech, composite wings that give it better maneuverability.
