It's Fall Festival Time! We've Got A List Of Events!

It's that time of year when fall festivals are in full swing. Here is a list of some of the upcoming events if you are looking for some family fun!

Saturday, October 19th and Sunday, Oct. 20th:

36th Annual Woolly Worm Festival: in Banner Elkin, event runs Saturday and Sunday from 9a.m. to 4p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for children 6-12 years old, children under 5 years old are free .

"Live Proud Winston-Salem" Festival and Parade: on Trade Street in downtown Winston-Salem. Festival runs from 10a.m. to 7p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19. The parade will start at 11 a.m. on Spring Street and end on Trade Street.

Animal Adoption & Rescue Foundation Rummage Sale: Parkway Presbyterian Church, corner of Yorkshire and Silas Creek Pkwy. Sale runs from at 7a.m. to 2p.m. and the bag sale starts at 1p.m. Admission is $2. Sale proceeds go to help provide food and medical care for AARF animals.

16th Annual Hospice Auto Show: Burlington At the Hospice Flea Market Store. The Auto Show will be held on Saturday Oct. 19 to benefit the Hospice Home.

Community Day and Job Fair: 1922 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive in Winston-Salem. The Southeast Neighborhood Association is hosting the event on Oct. 19th from noon until 4p.m. The event is free.

Central United Methodist Church's Fall Fest: 300 S. Main St., Asheboro, N.C. The Fall Fest is Sunday, Oct. 20th and runs from 4p.m. until 7:45p.m. Admission is free. 

25th Annual Ramseur Fall Festival: Ramseur, N.C. "A Day On Main Street" event will be held Saturday, Oct. 19th from 9a.m. until 5p.m. Admission is free.

Thursday, Oct. 24th:

Greensboro Police Club Annual Fall Barbecue: You can pick up your BBQ at two locations: Eat-in or take-out orders at 524 Air Harbor Rd. between 11a.m. to 7p.m., and take-out only at War Memorial Stadium at 510 Yanceyville St. between 11a.m. to 7p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24th. Tickets are $7 each. Call Nancy at 580-8856 to get a ticket.

Friday, Oct. 25th:

4th Annual Burlington Downtown Halloween Spooktacular: Downtown Burlington by the Depot. A costume parade of kids 12 and under will line-up on the lawn of the Municipal Building at 2:15p.m. The parade starts at 3p.m. Parade participants are eligible for the costume contest which will be held at 5p.m. at the Depot.  

Saturday, Oct 26th and Sunday, Oct 27th:

UMC Pumpkin Patch Celebrates 35th Year: 2569 Reynolda Rd. near the entrance to Wake Forest University. The event will be held on the front lawn of the church on Saturday, Oct. 26th from 5p.m. until 7p.m. Admission is free. Maple Springs United Methodist Church will be collecting canned food for the Maple Spring Food Pantry.

GYC's Annual Ghoulash Halloween Festival: Greensboro Cultural Center, 200 N. Davie St., Greensboro, N.C. The festival is Saturday, Oct. 26th from 5p.m. until 9p.m. Admission is free.

Franklinville Firefighter Motorcycle Ride & BBQ Fundraiser: 146 Main St., Franklinville, N.C. The event is on Saturday, Oct. 26th and starts at 3p.m. The Motorcycle Ride will start at Cox's Harley Davidson in Asheboro and end at the Franklinville Fire Station. An auction will be held at 7p.m. A $25 donation per motorcycle to take part in the ride and $8 per BBQ plate. 30th Annual Lexington BBQ Festival: downtown Lexington, N.C. The BBQ Festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26th from 8:30a.m. until 6p.m. Admission is free.

The Original Hollywood Horror Show Zombie Walk: Holly Hill Mall in Burlington. The event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26th from 10a.m. until 2p.m. Come dressed in your scariest costume and take part in the costume contest.

Dark In The Park: Burlington City Park, Burlington, N.C. The Halloween celebration will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26th from 5p.m. until 9p.m. with fireworks scheduled at 8p.m. You can take a ride on the Haunted Train Oct. 25th, Oct. 26th and Oct. 27th at 6:30 p.m. Train rides cost $5 per person.

Parkway Baptist Church Fall Festival: 1411 Benjamin Parkway, Greensboro, N.C. The church will host it's festival on Saturday, Oct. 26th from 3p.m. until 5p.m. Admission is free.

Halloween In The Park: Sunset Hills Neighborhood Park, Market St. and E. Greenway South in Greensboro. The event is Sunday, Oct. 27th from 3p.m. until 5p.m.

Halloween Fun at SciWorks: 400 W. Hanes Mill Rd., Winston-Salem, N.C. The fun begins at 3p.m. and goes until 5p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26th. The fun includes two laser shows. Each show will cost $6 per ticket or enjoy both shows with a $10 ticket. Laser shows are at 6p.m. and 7:30p.m.

BOO Bash in Mt. Airy: Hosted by Old North State Winery, the Boo Bash will benefit the Mt. Airy Museum of Regional History. The event is from 8p.m. to 11p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26th with a $10 and $15 admission fee.

Mitchell's Grove United Methodist Church's Fall Festival: 3511 E. Kivett Dr., High Point, N.C. The church will host their Fall Festival on Sunday, Oct. 27th from 4p.m. to 6p.m. Dora The Explorer will make a special appearance at the festival. The event is free.

Wednesday, Oct. 30th:

Harvest Celebration: Center Grove Baptist Church in Clemmons, N.C. The celebration will run from 5:30p.m. until 8p.m. The event is free to the public.

Christ United Methodist Church's Halloween Carnival: 410 N. Holden Rd., Greensboro, N.C. The event runs from 6:15p.m. until 7p.m. Admission is free. A few guide lines for this event, no scary or gory costumes please and parents are asked to accompany children the entire time that are at the carnival. Donations are also being collected for UNICEF.

Thursday, Oct. 31st:

Hallelujah Night at Ebenezer Baptist Church: 2700 W. Vandalia Rd., Greensboro, N.C. The church's event includes horseback riding, a petting zoo, food, hay rides and much more. The event is from 5:30pm to 8p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31st.

Harvest Celebration at Center Grove Baptist Church: 8750 Lasater Rd., Clemmons. This event will include pony rides, toddler playground and much more. The event runs from 5:30p.m. to 8p.m. and is free.

Truth & Treats Fall Festival: Cedar Grove Tabernacle of Praise, 612 Norwalk St. in Greensboro. The church will host carnival games, a costume parade and hot dog super from 6:30p.m. to 8:30p.m. and is free.

Saturday, Nov. 2nd:

Family Fun Fest: First Baptist Church Greensboro, 1000 W. Friendly Ave., Greensboro. The church will host a Family Fun Fest on Saturday, Nov. 2nd from 3p.m. to 5p.m. The event is free.
