LOS ANGELES -- Police say a second dry ice explosion has occurred at Los Angeles International Airport, but there are no reports of any injuries.
Detective Gus Villanueva said the incident occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m. Monday at the airport's Tom Bradley International Terminal. There was no immediate word where the dry ice was found or whether there was any significant damage.
Villanueva said investigators don't believe the incident is linked to terrorism. No threat was called into the airport.
Someone planted a plastic bottle containing dry ice that exploded in an airport employee bathroom on Sunday night. No arrests have been made.
