Breast cancer patients could finally have a solution for the hot flashes that come with radiation therapy and chemo.
Cone Health is testing an old method to get new results for those patients. The hospital's been using what are called "DermaTherapy" sheets for awhile to help patients with bedsores.
These sheets move moisture away from you. The hope is that will keep the women dry even when they're sweating from hot flashes.
Cone Health Cancer Center is enrolling 50 breast cancer patients to take part in the eight-week clinical trial to see if the new sheets improve their rest while going through treatment.
