Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Friday's game between the Boston Red Sox and
Kansas City Royals at Fenway Park has been postponed to support the efforts of
law enforcement officers due to the ongoing manhunt for the second suspect in
the Boston Marathon bombings.
A makeup date has not yet been announced.
The first suspect, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was confirmed dead early Friday morning,
while his brother, Dzhokhar, remains at large.
MBTA's entire network of commuter rail, bus, and subway services have been
shutdown, while state authorities have asked people who live in Watertown,
Waltham, Newton, Belmont, Cambridge, and Allston-Brighton to stay home and for
businesses in those cities and towns to remain closed.
