Oswego, NY - Julian Ross is fighting back.

The 7-year-old from Oswego, NY, has Stage 4 Neuroblastoma but his latest scans show no evidence of the disease.

That doesn't mean he is cancer-free but his body is finally beginning to start fight.

"Against all odds," his mother Kristi Thompson said.

New 2 first introduced you to Julian in September after a Clemmons woman made it her mission to complete his bucket list.

Julian and his family made the 600 miles journey from their home to Lexington, North Carolina after people he didn't even know organized a fundraiser for him.

Two days after Julian left North Carolina, he began an experimental treatment that wasn't supposed to work.

"He started clearing which they don't do, on this trial they just don't don't.  The whole point of this medicine was just to keep this stable and give him quality of life to be around here a while, they didn't expect it to cure him at all," explained Kristi.

Eight months and nine rounds of treatment later, Julian is stronger and healthier.

"It's a miracle, it is a miracle, they can't quite figure out why it worked for him," said Kristi.

"Thank you for the prayers," said Julian. "And, they're working!"

Julian has one more round of this treatment. Then, his mom says he may undergo another vaccine trial or stem cell harvest to keep him on this track.

Kristi says she is so thankful for all the prayers and asks that they continue.

Julian still has a long journey ahead. To keep up with his progress, follow his Facebook page
