Greensboro, NC -- It's almost prom season across the Triad and you can't go with that a glamorous dress, shoes, a purse and accessories!
For years, an agency in Greensboro has provided free dresses for girls who can't afford them.
Camille's Closet and the Greensboro Youth Council collects the dresses throughout the year, they also get them cleaned and 'like new.'
Dates for teenagers to come shop for their dress are announced and the girls show up. Tuesday, was the day for girls to shop and they lined up.
It helped that schools are on spring break this week.
"People can come here and have the opportunity to get a glamorous dress too and feel pretty and confident in prom," Keandra Howard with the Greensboro Youth Council said. "And say, hey, I have this dress and these shoes and everything that goes together so they can have an awesome prom, just like everybody else."
Camille's Closet specializes in collecting new and gently used formal dresses and accessories for young ladies going to the prom.
