Greensboro, NC -- All lanes of W. Lee St. are open after crews demolished a vacant apartment building that burned down Thursday.

Crews closed Lee St. between S. Aycock St. and Spring Garden Road as they worked all day Saturday to clean up the scene of a fire at the Spartan Village apartments.

Police initially expected the road to open at 10 a.m. Saturday, and the estimated time was pushed back twice before Lee St. reopened around 8 p.m.

Students are expected to move back onto campus following Spring Break Sunday, but it is not clear how Thursday's fire will affect students moving into apartments in that area.
