Pfafftown, NC - The man who failed to show in court to answer to charges of embezzling more than $100,000 from Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center has been arrested in Nevada.

Chief Deputy Brad Stanley with Forsyth County Sheriff's Office confirms Stephen B. Tisdale was arrested Friday in Nevada. He is being held in the Clark County Detention Center without bond.

Thursday, Tisdale was supposed to appear in court to enter a plea for a felony charge. That same day police found a body in his Pfafftown home. He shares the home with his partner, Robert Tisdale.

The visit by police was prompted by Robert's mother who called authorities concerned because she hadn't spoken to her son in several days.

Stanley says the body found in the home was so decomposed it could not be identified and the cause or manner of death could not be determined. Stanley said they couldn't even determine the sex of the deceased.

The body has been taken to Raleigh for examination. Stanley hopes to learn more the first of next week for the medical examiner.

Meanwhile, Stanley is clear to note that Stephen is not a suspect and his arrest in Nevada is not related to their ongoing death investigation.

Stephen will have his first court appearance in Nevada Tuesday. That hearing will determine will determine his extradition status.

Stanley says his office is still trying to make contact with Robert.
