Seagrove, NC --Authorities have located the four children missing in Randolph County.
They were found huddled together in the woods. Rescue crews tell WFMY News 2's Lauren Melvin the children's clothes were tattered.
At least seventy-five people helped search for these children. They were divided into different teams and combed the area near Needhams Trail in Seagrove.
Captain Mike Craven tells WFMY News 2 that the three seven-year-olds and one five-year-old were playing in a front yard when they wandered off. Police say a parent went outside to call them in and couldn't find them.
Two of the children are brothers and the other two are neighbors. The brothers are five-year-old Damian and seven-years-old Dakota. One neighbor is Brittany, a seven-year-old and the other is seven-year-old Kalob. Brittany's mother tells News 2 they just moved to Seagrove a month and a half ago.
They're in a rural part of the county, north of Highway 705 at Needhams Trail in Seagrove in a heavily wooded area. Highway Patrol helicopters aided in the search.
The cold temperatures expected Thursday night were are a huge concern.
